Was thoroughly restricted to ESPN brand--Gammons

"SI.com: How would you describe your editorial independence at ESPN?

Gammons: There is certainly independence but whether it is radio or whatever you do,

• you are thoroughly restricted to the ESPN brand.

And I understand that. Everything you do,

• it has to be within the ESPN brand,

• and if ran the company that's what I'd do. It's a great idea, a great business but

• I don't mind the independence now."...
